Description
Sodium succinate hexahydrate is used as a tricarboxylic acid cycle (Krebs cycle) supplement in cell culture applications. It is also used as a flavoring agent for food and beverages. It serves as an intermediate for dyes, perfumes, lacquers, photographic chemicals, alkyd resins, plasticizer, metal treatment chemical, vehicle water cooling systems and coatings. Further, it is used to study x-ray crystallography, protein structural analysis, proteomics and optimization reagents. It is utilized to determine the calorimetric and diffractometric evidence for the sequential crystallization of buffer components.
