Description

MA5-17194 targets TWF1 in indirect ELISA, FACS, ICC, IHC, IF and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-17194 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human TWF1 (amino acids: 335-384 ) expressed in E. Coli. MA5-17194 detects TWF1 which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 40.3kDa.

This gene encodes twinfilin, an actin monomer-binding protein conserved from yeast to mammals. Studies of the mouse counterpart suggest that this protein may be an actin monomer-binding protein, and its localization to cortical G-actin-rich structures may be regulated by the small GTPase RAC1.
