Translucent and semi-rigid tubing is also used for demanding lab applications such as chromatography, trace metal analysis, pollution sampling, highly reactive catalyst procedures, metallurgical corrosion testing, pharmaceutical work, dissolutions and hot acid etchings. Food-grade materials comply with 21 CFR 177.1520 for food packaging.
