Invitrogen™ LanthaScreen™ Tb-peIF2a (pSer52) Antibody
The alpha subunit of Eukaryotic initiation factor 2 (eIF2alpha) plays a key regulatory role in protein synthesis.
Brand: Invitrogen™ PV4815
Description
The alpha subunit of Eukaryotic initiation factor 2 (eIF2alpha) plays a key regulatory role in protein synthesis. In response to a cellular stress, phosphorylation of eIF2alpha at Ser52 occurs by the EIF2AK family of kinases including PERK (EIF2AK3) and PKR (EIF2AK2) to prohibit the initiation of protein synthesis.
For use in combination with the GFP-EIF2alpha physiological protein substrate (Cat. No. PV4809) to evaluate inhibitors in medium to high throughput screening applications.
