E-Base™ devices run E-Gel™ and E-PAGE™ buffer-less, pre-cast agarose and polyacrylamide gels. This adapter allows the use of E-Gel and E-PAGE gels on automated liquid handling workstations. The adapter is positioned on the automated workstation and allows the gripper to turn the gels by 90 degrees to accommodate different pipette attachments, configurations, and technologies.
