Description

These models are for use in quality control, heat treatment and research of ceramic materials. Applications include testing cement, sintering metallic/ceramic components and manufacturing high specification technical ceramics. The are heated by side-mounted, free-radiating, SiC or MoSiO² elements which ensure rapid heat up, while providing excellent thermal uniformity within the chamber volume, a key requirement in these applications. They use the highest specification insulation chamber linings capable of withstanding the high temperature cycles While ensuring compliance to BSEN 61010 safe outer surface temperature.

• Precise push button temperature setting, with single ramp and timer (301) or option of 8 (3216P1) or 20 (3508P1) step programmer. 8 step programmer fitted as standard to 1, 700°C and 1, 800°C models
• Safety features include vertical parallel lift door design, which partially protects user from heat radiation, positive break door-open switch and double skinned body for safe outer surface temperature
• Independent over temperature protection controller standard on 1, 700°C and 1, 800°C models
