Description
The 24 LEB selective supplement from Oxoid includes ten vials. One vial is required for 500 mL of medium.
- Selectively enrich Listeria monocytogenes and other Listeria spp. from food and environmental samples
- Medium provides optimal growing conditions for all Listeria species for PCR applications
- Specifically designed for use with PCR systems, such as Thermo Scientific™ SureTect™ molecular assays for Listeria
Directions:
- Completely dissolve 21.75 g of 24 LEB base per 500 mL of distilled water
- Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 min.
- Cool to 50 °C
- Aseptically add contents of one vial of 24 LEB selective supplement per 500 mL medium, reconstituted as directed
- Cool to room temp before use, once made, store medium at 2 to 8 °C in dark
